which pocket video camera? kodak Zi8 v's flip HD?

i was a bit of a noob until tonight and thought the flip HD was pretty much the only one you could get, turns out there are loads!
ive done some research and the kodak Zi8 would seem to be the best to me. looking to spend no more than £150 really and its for the girlfriend so has to be small and good looking but have good features.
has anyone got one or has any advice?
